We believe Jesus gave a clear directive to

Teach people everything Jesus said.
Baptize those who believe.
Disciple them to be more like Jesus.
18Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Mission Valley Church has been formed around the teaching of the gospel. We believe the study of the Bible is both simple and deep - meant not only for information, but transformation.
What is the gospel? It’s a story of beauty and brokenness. It’s a story of sacrifice and redemption.
The gospel is simply this:
God made the word and it was beautiful. (Genesis 1:1-31)
Then man sinned and broke it, which led to separation from God. (Genesis 3:1-24)
But God did not leave us in that separated state.
The truth is he sent his son Jesus down to Earth on a rescue mission. (Hebrews 4:15)
Jesus lived the perfect life that we never could and died the horrific death that we deserved. (Colossians 2:13-15)
So that we could be back in community with God. (1 John 4:12)
The gospel is a redemption story and we must be redemption storytellers.
